Galerius, as Caesar, 293-305. Follis (Silvered bronze, 29 mm, 10.71 g, 7 h), Treveri, circa 303-May 305. MAXIMIANVS NOB C Laureate and draped bust of Galerius to right, seen from behind. Rev. GENIO POPV-LI ROMANI / S - F / PTR The Genius of the Roman people, nude but for chlamys, standing front, head to left, wearing kalathos and holding patera in his right hand and cornucopiae in his left. RIC -, cf. 602b (differing bust type). Apparently unpublished with this bust type. Light deposits, otherwise, about extremely fine.
